Enid Associate Director of Community Education and Relations
Enid joined the HVTN in April 2007. She earned a Bachelors degree in Nursing and a Master's of Public Administration/Health Policy from Seattle University. Prior to joining the network, she worked as a registered nurse in trauma/neurosurgery; her nursing background is extensive, involving 20 years of clinical practice. Enid is excited to be a part of such a dynamic group, welcoming the challenge of vaccine research and awareness.
Outside of work, Enid is an avid runner and has completed the Boston marathon three times. She is a Seattle native and is the youngest of seven children. Enid loves to play in the outdoors and enjoys all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Keeping up with her three active nephews is quite the challenge! Her next goal? Cooking something other than oatmeal and learning Spanish…stay tuned!
