What is iPrEx?
The iPrEx study looked at whether taking one pill a day of the anti-HIV medication TDF/FTC (sold under the name Truvada) was safe and could prevent HIV infections. The iPrEX study enrolled 2,499 HIV-negative men in Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, South Africa, Thailand and the United States.
