As required under our cooperative agreement with DAIDS, the HVTN has established bylaws for the Network. These bylaws outline our mission, objectives, governance, membership, and the committee structure for the Network.
The HVTN has several standing committees and working groups that coordinate the major scientific and operational aspects of the Network. Each committee has a central function that supports our scientific agenda and strategic planning, and all of the committees and working groups report to the Scientific Governance Committee.
In keeping with our commitment to Good Participatory Practice, the Network includes community representation in all levels of our governance, with community members serving on standing committees and on the Scientific Governance Committee.
